Secure Your Yahoo Mail - Turn on Second Sign-In Verification
Since emails are the most important asset of once identity therefore it is very important to secure them. As having just a password for your account isn’t going to provide you enough security therefore preventing other people from accessing your account without your permission, Yahoo uses an authentication feature known as "two-step verification." It asks you to verify a code sent to your mobile device, when a login attempt is made on your account from a new device. For this you will have to enable your two step verification. Following are the steps to enable two step verification.
Step 1: Sign in to your yahoo account using your existing user name and password.
Step 2: Click on account security.
Step 3: Click on two-step verification and turn it on.
Step 4: Enter your mobile number you want to associate with your account.
Step 5: Click send message.
Step 6: You will receive a verification code on your phone.
Step 7: Now put this verification code on the device from where you logged in.
Step 8: Click verify.
Now every time you log into your yahoo account you will get a verification code on your mobile. Hence you have successfully enabled two-step verification. If you are not able to do this steps dial Yahoo support number NZ 099508700 for assistance.
